Publisher, Grocery Awards Hilton Park Lane: June 2012

I just wanted to drop a quick email to ask you to pass on my thanks to the team. Andrew, Andy, Katie and the sound guy really worked hard to produce a great sales conference and awards, in at times, difficult circumstances, with power cuts and room changes etc. But this also extends to the guys behind the scenes who I know worked hard to get the presentations done in a limited time frame. I really appreciate it. Both Andrew and Charles were very happy and the staff today have all had great things to say about the event.

Katie is a great person to work with, I totally trust her and I know that she is working ‘with’ William Reed to make some great events. It’s nice to now feel that Corporate Events and William Reed, and I can only speak on behalf of the Grocery & Retail division, have a good solid working relationship and I'm looking forward to delivering some great events in the coming year.

Hopefully I’ll see you again soon,

 

Charity Ball, Westminster Park Plaza: May 2012

We’d just like to say a massive thanks to everyone who worked on the Candy Ball, be it the performers, the production team or the technical crew.

Please do pass on our thanks to everyone involved for making it such a success and we’re thrilled that we hit our target of over £200k in the stylish surroundings given to us by Corporate Events.

The set looked absolutely amazing and we’ve had lots of feedback from guests who thought it was fantastic. The sting also helped us set of the evening with a bang and Sarah and I in particular loved it and watched it loads in the office the week before to get us excited for the big day!

The evening ran really smoothly and we are grateful for all your hard work and skill in making Sweet Charity’s biggest annual event the success it was. I hope you all got a goodie bag as part of our thanks, but if there was anyone who was left out do let me know and we can send one over to them.

Please do pass on our thanks to the Candy Ball team and I’m sure there will be opportunities for us to work together again in the future.

Open Day and Financial Services Event: May 2012

Thanks for yesterday’s invite to CE HQ. Enjoyed seeing all the gadgets and gizmos, plus walking off with a bottle of v fine bubbly always goes down well!
I also wanted to say many thanks for all your help with staging Monday’s event. The feedback overall has been extremely positive and several people have commented on how professionally it all came across (which obviously helps them in how they feel about both themselves and the day). I just wanted to drop a quick note to say a huge thank you to Laura & the team from Corporate Events who ran the event last week in Peterborough.

It was a great day and nothing is too much trouble for Laura & the team. The event went very smoothly as usual but for me, the preparation the night before & all the small things on the day is when quality really shines through with Corporate Events. Our rehearsal was lengthy to say the least and Laura and the guys were so helpful in ensuring the job and changes were achieved but they also did a lot to ensure that my job was made as stree-free as possible which was magic. On the day Laura even helped us by being official time-keeper & organiser for our tradeshow which is beyond the call of duty but a huge help for us when things are busy.

I just wanted to say that it's a cracking service Corporate Events offer and wanted to say thank you to Laura & the guys who made it a real pleasure to work with them and achieve a great briefing.

It's just a quick note to say thanks to all the team for their efforts last week - I believe it was the most smooth, most calm and organised event we've delivered so far which was recognised by all the team. 

Overall, I think we had a great team in place for this one and it is the total team who deserve credit although there are a few people who should be recognised for their delivery on this one. 

Vicky in particular, has really grown over the last six months and it was clear she was totally in control of the event and knew absolutely where we were every step of the way along the process.

Ian was equally as good on site, he already made a big impact on delivering the event and making it a success.  I think Ian will be a really strong addition to the team. 

Dan and David were superb in the slides decks they created and their management of our internal stakeholders - the phrase 'Hero' has been used to describe them both so I'm sure you get some sense of how highly we rate them!

I am just back from yet another successful Partner Summit where Cisco hosted a conference for 400-500 of our top Partners in Europe and Emerging. Tim and the Corporate Events team were responsible for the AV part of this conference, and as usually Tim et.al. did a perfect job. They are very service minded and just respond to any challenge/task with a smile.

This is the second year that we have worked with Corporate Events and we were very glad that we made that decision…… The team worked hard to create the event we had envisioned.

Christmas Party: December 2012

Hi All

An awesome Christmas Party last night!

Well done.  The hard work and attention to detail all paid off,  making it our best event ever.  I’ve never seen so many happy faces – everyone enjoyed themselves, including me.   I had a great time.

Please pass on my thanks to your team, the band, the photo booth people (what a genius idea!) and of course a very big thank you to you and Michelle.

Thought I’d be suffering for it today, but no.   I can’t stop smiling and will continue to do so for some time to come.

My last day in the office as you know is Monday and then I am off until 7 January 2013.

Trade Roadshow Events, FMCG: November 2012

Hi Michelle,

Can I draw to your attention how fantastic Vicky has been in making sure that our customer meetings are all running smoothly!  She and Jen are totally on top of it all and have been getting the guys booked and briefed even when I've not been on the ball getting all the info to them.  Had they not been so on the ball, I'm sure something would have slipped through the gaps prior to me getting back from holiday.  Really good work from both of them!

 

FMCG Awards Production / Gala Dinner: November 2012

Hi Laura! Well....what can I say?! Absolutely brilliant would be start! Thank you so so much for what you did for us on Star Pub Awards Laura! I can't tell you how proud I was to see and hear the overall result. I don't know how you do it all....but I do know that you provide the very best service for us for these events. I regard it as Platinum Service so thanks a million to you and the team for making it that way. I was a bit knackered last night so sorry I wasn't enthusing more as all your help definetly deserved it!.

I’d credit Corporate Events for their ingenuity re the syndicate ‘pods.’ I think they looked really impressive and professional, as did the ‘hedges’ and all that cordoned off piece up stairs worked well. Ben and Jules’ desire to get it 100% right for the client is so abundantly clear and I value and appreciate their professionalism.
